Opera not following standard scrolling behavior in Windows

In Windows if you are in the middle of dragging the scrollbar and move your mouse to the far left or far right (while still keeping the mouse button down), the scrollbar will return to its original place (where you initially clicked it to start dragging) and lock until your mouse has returned near the area of the scrollbar. Every Windows program follows this and Opera did too until 12.00. Ever since updating Opera is not following this behavior.

Can anyone confirm this new issue?

(Opera 12.00 on Windows 7 64 bit)

Confirmed that it works IE and Opera 11.64 and not in Opera 12. Don't know if it's a known bug or not.

This also bugged me. I use this "feature" very often to just peek at another part of a sometimes very large site, and easily finding back the old position.
I would appreciate this being switched back to the old behavior, or at least give us an option to choose whether we want to use this the old fashioned way or not.
