[Opera 12 x64] Opera Link broken?
Opera Link used to "just work" for years. Not anymore. I have Link activated on 2 machines (win7 & win8 x64) but both don't sync to the myOpera Link page and of course not to each other too.I deleted my bookmarks.adr and bookmarks.adr.pre_sync, imported my bookmarks back from it and after switching link off and on again, I got my bookmarks to show up on the myOpera page once. The day after they are gone and the myOpera page doesn't show any of my bookmarks anymore.
Upon restarting Opera I often get the little window showing "Opera Link is still syncing the final blabla.." and sometimes it crashes from it even when I let it do it without interrupting.
Whats wrong here? My installation is fairly new, meaning I just started with new settings all over a few weeks ago. Is it a problem on my side or is something wrong with the service? Please help.
I'm having the same problem. When I upgraded to x64 I did a clean installed, copied my notes, speed dial, search, content blocker and bookmarks files over. Recently I noticed the link icon at the bottom keeps showing up with a red circle and when I go to check the status it says "An unhandled error has occurred on the Opera Link server". When its not red hovering over it says its busy but showing the status says its fine. Anyway, a minute ago I logged in and noticed none of my content is on the link website.

I had this exact problem with Opera several years ago!!!! I just came back to opera as my Chrome is giving me pain and it saddens me to see this Opera Link issue neglected over the years. As I understood it, the devs had no clue as to what to do about it and how to fix the issue.
...well, I still get the Opera Link errors but I can see the bookmarks at link.opera.com after I deleted all my bookmarks. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I don't know what to make of this but time will tell if it syncs ok or not.
Opera Link seems to communicate with the server but only for authentication; I've tried to enter an invalid username/password and LogIn and I get an error message saying that the username/password are incorrect. If I enter the valid username/password it passes the login page and is letting me chose which thing I want to sync (bookmarks, pw, typed history, etc.) but after that it doesn't sync. It just stops at authentication.
Did anyone of you filled a bug, or know one submitted for this problem? If so, can you please give me the URL for it?
Thanks!

Opera link is a very dysfunctional part of Opera, an otherwise very good browser. When I sync I get duplicates that I have to tediously edit. On the web site you cannot edit the bookmarks or the speed dial. You are better off simply not using this very bad part of Opera. I guess it's been going on for some time without a fix. Too bad.
ipv6 core have bug in opera 12.
this setting is solve problem with opera link and other (for me).
if u are using ipv6 from your ISP try this:
Prefer ipv4 over ipv6 in Win7:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters \
•In the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) Value.
•Type DisabledComponents, and then press ENTER.
•Double-click DisabledComponents.
•Type 0x20 to prefer IPv4 over IPv6
this little setting will add ability to use ipv6 from your ISP and work Opera and Opera Link fine.
