Start Page hijacked - unwanted link removalHi
I've been using Opera for Android for over 2 years with no problems until now. I accidentally pressed on an advert while playing a game, and this has now added a link to my start page. I've tried pressing down on it to get a menu up and delete it but it just goes through to the page, the Google Play page for Foo Calls. I can make the link go away by disabling start page links in the settings but I'd rather just remove the offending link itself. Despite searching the web using Google and these forums I can't find a solution.
Thanks for your help,
Samsung Galaxy S2, rooted but stock ROM, Android version 4.0.3
Opera Mobile, version 12.00.ADR-1205181138

Did you try clicking on the Manage button, there at the bottom of the page? It should display an X in a circle on all of your links, clicking on the X will remove the link.

Yes I tried that - all the shortcuts on the grid (My Opera, Facebook etc) showed the X but the actual link did not.

I've taken the screenshot but can't see a way of posting it as the button is asking for a URL. How do I paste it into the body of the message?

well there is no other sane way except to disable start page links. alternatively, you can Clear Data of the app, but you wouldnt want to lose all your bookmarks, would you?

I can live with losing the bookmarks as I don't have that many.
Is this really the only way to clear a link? I can't believe that there is no way to edit them, after all how did it get there in the first place?

Please DO upload the screenshot, as this sounds interesting, but without seeing it there is nothing we can do.
