One of the best quality TTS "Text to Speech" + Opera's text to speech for 11x and Q about 12x

Let me be clear that it's Text to Speech that interests me not the Voice to Control.

For Opera 11.x just need to say what a joy TTS has been.
When tired and long hours having that last bit of something read to you is 'perfect'.

Could there be some simple 'English' explanation.
Is IBM the 3rd party vendor? Just curious it probably doesn't matter.

What does interest me:
Can someone explain to me. Please:

If TTS Worked from 8x through 11x.
Why is Opera 12x different.
Can't the same voice files from 11x work in 12?

FWIW
never has there been a better
sounding voice intonation than Opera's voice.
Even IBM Via voice never sounded as good.

None of the ATT voices nor anything else that's easy to find sounds anywhere as 'living' as Opera's voice reader.

What's the suggestions to keep TTS for browsing?

The changelog for 12x says:

Voice support has been removed as of Opera 12.00, as the voice-detection library is no longer supported by the third-party vendor.
