No resizing triangles at the bottom of message boxes

Hi,
I just switched from Firefox to Opera. I would like to know why are there no resize triangles at the bottom of message boxes. I had these on Firefox and they are super handy when I would like to expand the box. Please see the attached screenshot to see what I mean:

Is there a way to get these to work in Opera? I am hesitant to stay with Opera if there is no way to make these work since I am constantly working with websites that have these resizing triangles. If I can't expand the boxes I have to scroll a million miles and I can only see just 2-3 lines of text at a time if I write a long message.

Thanks in advance!!!

www.youtube.com for example. The comment boxes can be easily resized on Firefox but I can't do this with Opera. It's not just Youtube however. A dozen of sites I regularly visit has these and having to scroll when I can just drag this thing and expand the box is just tedious and a waste of time. Not to mention that I can only see a few lines of text at once.

Well? Is there an option in Opera to turn these resizing triangles on?

Maybe it is an Firefox feature? Do you see this also with IE?

There is an extension Textarea resizer that takes care of that function if this is what the OP means.
Personally I see no need for it.

YES! Thats it! Thanks Luxor. cheers
Opera should implement this in the next version to be honest. A real time-saver and very convenient when writing long stuff in text fields.

Chrome also sports this feature by default.

I think it's quite nice, as I rarely like the space provided by the ui designer.

If you want to suggest that, you should do so ... in the Desktop wish-list forum.
