Can't get Adobe Flash to work for 64-bit Opera on PC-BSD (FreeBSD) 9, amd64.I've been trying to get Adobe Flash for 64-bit Opera on PC-BSD (FreeBSD) 9, amd64 to work for a few days now and I can't figure out what exactly needs to be done or why whatever I've done doesn't work. I'm using Opera 12.02 64-bit (build 1578) for FreeBSD on PC-BSD 9 (same as FreeBSD 9), also 64-bit.
Is there an issue with this setup that I am not aware of? Is there any way I can make Flash work in this setup?
The obvious problem is that they don't have an official Flash for *BSD. I recall one of the developers posting about using Linux plugins in BSD, but that was so long ago that even if I could find it I'm not sure his advice would apply to 12.02.
Hopefully Ruario, AVL or another of the developers will reply to your other post, there's not much point in people replying to this thread.
Its getting so annoying I am going to switch browsers if this is not sorted out VERY SOON...
I have installed/uninstalled flash player numerous times. Gone through their uninstall procedures time after time cleared all registry etc etc etc etc
Flash support tells me to switch browsers if I cannot succeed to get it working as they do not fully support Opera.
The large circular grey play icon comes up but will not play automatically until I actually hit the white play button, then it plays fine...What do I need to do to get it to load the vids/flash automatically like it used to so long long ago....
Any help greatly appreciated....

Sounds like you are using Opera Turbo. Turn it off.
