Because 12.02 is stable?whistle

does stable mean that after having a problem for a while it fixes itself?
I did not change version between it having the issue and not having the issue

because it's more likely being youtube than opera causing this wink

I have the feeling that since chrome is out all other browsers are more and more getting erros on yt.
yt is most likely "optimized" for said browser more and more;
and since chrome is crap yt gets crappy too wink

It seems that an extension or userjs is causing the problem.

By default Youtube places (most of)the buttons on the right side of the player and there is no "movies" between "videos" and "upload".

I come across the same problem from time to time. A workaround is deletion of YouTube cookies. Maybe the problem is caused by recurrent YouTube style/script changes, but I am not sure. I use Windows 7 x64, and my Flash and Opera are always up to date.

If you by changes you mean the new ugly 1998 layout with tons of space-wasting they've added, it's not that. I got this clutter before the new layout and now it is here again. sad Opera 12.11 1661 - Flash 11.5.502.135

Also happens with 12.12. sad (Step 1707. Same Flash version as last time.)

I have recently cleared all my Opera data, so it's weird that Youtube is acting up again.

No, this happens several times before and after.

The last time only the clearing of Flash player cache helps me. I can only assume Opera provide the wrong width of screen/window to Flash player. Maybe that happens on session restoring when window is not shown yet but flash already loaded, and Flash caches these wrong values and layouts incorrectly further.

Weird, because clearing the data, and also cleaning up Opera, does nothing. It will just randomly get back to normal again. And then suddenly, all the controls will be scrambled together. It's weird how it behaves.

I think I found the cause for this bug. It happens to me when I put the computer (Win 7) in sleep mode with Opera open. The next time I open my computer, Opera in Youtube will behave like that.
There is also another bug Opera gets, which is that skins look all "messed up" when resuming from sleep mode. It is enough to just drag the tab bar up and down and it will refresh, but it shouldn't be like that in the first place.

I still have this problem.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11891303/ShareX/2013-04/2013-04-27_02-20-09.png

only for flash videos, and only in opera.
flash 11,7,700,169
Opera 12.15 32bit running on Windows 7 64bit.

Tried deleting cookies, and disabling extensions and userjs, no luck.
Also tried full reinstall of Opera. still the same.

Hope this will get fixed soon.

Getting this problem too, this appears randomly in Opera and it always seems to fix itself after a while. It seems to be related to Flash, since when playing videos on Youtube with the HTML5 player I don't get the problem.
I've experienced this on multiple computers, on a Windows desktop, on a Windows laptop and on a Mac laptop, using different versions of Opera and Flash.

Here's an example of a video played simultaneusly on Opera and IE:

It's not simply a flash related problem, since this never happens with other browsers. Only with opera i get this. Clearing the cache solves the problem, until it returns after some time.

Though, sometimes even clearing cache doesn't seem to solve it, like happened just now. Cleared cache and even tried quitting browser after but the controls are still overlapping.
