Import from gmail to myopera
Hi there,I've been looking for a way to import my historic email into My Opera. Is that possible?

It doesn't get everything though. It only copied 61 emails. I'd like it to copy everything. Is that possible?

If you need to do this just once (and not automatically all the time):
In Opera, goto "Menu -> mail and chat accounts" and add IMAP accounts to connect to your Gmail and MyOpera accounts.
Then, in the mail panel, drag messages in an IMAP folder under the you@gmail.com access point to an IMAP folder under the you@myopera.com access point. Opera will then *copy* the messages to your My Opera account.

I'm looking for a way to import my historic email into my inbox on mail.opera.com - by that, I mean that I'm not using an email client, just the My Opera mail website. Is that possible?

At the moment you can't do this. It should POP the most recent 100 emails. We do record user feedback though, and now I've taken note of your wishes to POP all historical emails internally.

Understood. I was just suggesting you use one just this once for the import process if you only need to do this procedure once. As in, I was suggesting a workaround.
i need some help, i had problem with my opera mail, im trying to deleate my gmail in my opera mail account but it doesnt remove and when i see the settings in my opera mail it was succesfully remove but still it shows in my opera mail. Ps to my english.. Please i need someone to help me.
julsaljoeesmali: You will need to remove any email that was brought over when you first set up those accounts. We don't automatically delete POPped mail when you delete the associated account.

Yes, the messages will fetch again. That's odd that the account doesn't show up though. Can you message me privately and tell me the name of the account? I can have a look for you.
