I disabled all extensions but it didn't help at all. Using Opera x64 12.15. As it crashes only 8 of 10 times when i open Facebook I guess it has to do something with changing content (maybe advertisement), because when it DOES load (without crashing), pictures, videos etc. are working fine.
It randomly happens while browsing FB, sometimes already when trying to load the page in the first place.
Can't really reproduce though, as for the moment, it's working again.
Also, if that helps, the crash handler doesn't fire. It just goes away and makes Windows tell me it stopped working.

You'll need to use the 32bit version. The 32bit version doesn't crash.
Actually, I first started having the FB crashes with the 32bit version the other day, just switched to the 64bit and still having problems. This is just one of a couple problems that is really starting to aggravate me enough to start looking at other browsers. I've been using Opera exclusively for years, and only recently got FireFox to handle the things that stopped working with Opera and to handle my online classes. Now even less is functioning.
The only way I've gotten FB to open/load without crashing is to open in background tab without going to that tab and it loads.....lags everything up pretty good, but once it loads it seems to hold.

it just doesn't work when it knows you use Opera.
Then blame the sites you visit that exhibit that problem for blatant browser sniffing.
I'd like to know why I have to use 4 different browsers in order to work on internet...FF is in continual crash mode now. Chrome I hate because it's google and Safari is too oblique to be very practical. Not sure IE is a browser, but its so damn ugly and clumsy to use-- the best is Opera, but it doesn't load the basic sites I need to do work. Sux. Before it was Opera's continual hassle with java and now just with major sites.
Is really an incredible hassle to be logging into every single social networking site and personal account on 4 browsers and then trying to update them all.
