Ups.. Sorry, I forgot to renew readme in oGet 1.9.8. Fixed.

oGet 2 (230Kb) Opera 9 only.
Links now undertake from the page and can be preliminary processed UserJS (for example extra-download-links)
Are transferred cookies. For safety reasons, only on a current site.
With "Download Selection", not more jump out a window with javascript.
It is more convenient to add direct download (which not from the menu, and through MIME-types). Simply select "Full integration with Opera".
At direct download (not from the menu), the selected text is added in the description
oGet.exe Instead of oGet.vbs

@Lex

i found an issue. is the installer supposed to take the standard_menu.ini (opera/defaults) and then
add the oGet entries and copy it to opera/profiles/menu?
because when i right click on a link ONLY the oget entry appears. the rest disapeared.
my standard_menu.ini is like 50 KB and the fdm.ini (im using free download manager) is only 9 KB.
so a lot of entries seem to be missing.
im using the latest weekly from yesterday in german.

You can translate this?
$MP = "Select a Opera folder in the list below, then click OK."
$Merror = "Not found OperaDef6.ini"
$MUSD = "If needed, specify a way to the file of USDownloader.exe"
$MOK = "Setup has finished installing oGet on your computer"
$MO9 = "Only for Opera 9!"
$MDL = '"Download with oGet"'
$MDS = '"Download Selection with oGet"'
$MDALL = '"Download All with oGet"'
$MSDM = '"Select Download Manager"'
$MDL_USD = '"Download with USD"'
$MDALL_USD = '"Download All with USD"'
$MDS_USD = '"Download Selection with USD"'

is the installer supposed to take the standard_menu.ini (opera/defaults) and then
add the oGet entries and copy it to opera/profiles/menu?

No. oGet do not copy menu (only doing backup). oGet do copy sections (Link Popup Menu, etc)from defaults\standard_menu.ini

Hi Lex,

here the translation:

$MDL = '"Mit oGet herunterladen"'
$MDS = '"Auswahl mit oGet herunterladen"'
$MDALL = '"Alles mit oGet herunterladen"'
$MSDM = '"Download Manager auswählen"'
$MDL_USD = '"Mit USD herunterladen"'
$MDALL_USD = '"Alles mit USD herunterladen"'
$MDS_USD = '"Auswahl mit USD herunterladen"'

i use Opera 8.54. is there a way to pass the referer to flashget with this when i set it up for direct download? i can right-click an exe file and select "download with oGet" and the referrer appears in the flashget window. but if i set it to direct download exe files, theres no referrer.??

also can this catch files from rapidshare?

Edit: just installed it to Opera 9. i get this error, "Not exist file "C:\Program Files\Opera9\oget\default".

i use flashget with full integration.

Edit 2: i had Javascript turned off. i turned it on and now the right-click menu works fine. i just need it to work without javascript turned on.

thanks.

Hi!

Thanks for the plugin - excellent work!

Is it possible to integrate a keyboard shortcut?

I only want to handle some downloads over flashget - so I do not select "full browser integration". When I want to use flashget, I make a right-click on the link and load it with flashget.

Instead of the right click is it possible to integrate a keyboard shortcut - for example CTRL + left mouse click to force a download with flashget?

Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

Wednesday, 23. May 2007, 15:15:31

Dear friends,

I'm using Opera v9.21 and need to intergrade ReGet Deluxe v5.0 via oGet. I've
read in this thread that we need to use the old installation folder name for
ReGet in order to work with oGet. I did that and I even "hardcoded" the path
inside oget.ini but still doesn't work. The entry in oGet menu for ReGet is
not selectable and with the manually inserted path for ReGet in oget.ini I get
the unsupported download manager error.

What am I missing? Any help?

Thanks you!

PS: By the way, where do I place oget.js in order to get the Ctrl+Click ability
and one more question, when I upgrade Opera what steps should I follow for oGet?

ReGet uses COM. Try regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\ReGet Shared\Catcher.dll"
or go to options ReGet and select integration in IE. And press button "Refresh" in oGet.

Create copy of menu in Ctrl+F12->Advanced->Toolbars. After this you can do many upgrades of Opera

What version of Windows do you use?
«Go to options ReGet and select integration in IE. And press button "Refresh" in oGet.»
If it does not work will reinstall ReGet with options by default.

Well, I prefer to leave my IE non-integrated to a download manager. I need IE "clean". I use Opera for everyday tasks and IE as a "backup" browser where Opera cannot handle some sites.

Use a correct way to the file of Catcher.dll. Are you able to find him?

No I couldn't find it! Strange! Are you sure this method hasn't been dropped on v5.0 of ReGet?

The download manager works fine as a stand-alone tool but catcher.dll is nowhere to be found!

By the way, I noticed that I cannot access the integration settings of ReGet. This has to do probably with a missing catcher.dll. I couldn't contact the developers since their new site sucks. They dropped out newsgroups and now they have a form you need to complete. I am a registered user but you never get feedbacks in this way! Oh, well!

Yes. You must choose integration in IE during installation. It will set catcher.dll. After, you can disable integration in IE.

It's work.

Saturday, 26. May 2007, 06:44:22

Everything works fine now if I right-click and select <Download with oGet>.

When I had though oGet integrated with FlashGet it could catch downloads and
pass them to FlashGet even on the cases where right-clicking wasn't possible.
And there was no need to define each file type in Opera's configurations. How
can I have this behaviour for ReGet as well?
