I've made a user javascript manager, it can activate and deactivate userJS and some other features.

If you find a bug please report it in a blog post comment.

Finally got around to trying this out. Pretty cool! One suggestion: Add a "View Script" button in the bottom row. I oftentimes like to get in there and edit things (or just poke around).

Edit: Also, when I click the "X" button to close the program, I actually want it to close - not minimize. Perhaps give us this option?

I believe, he meant because of the dangers when installing an unknown EXE-file on one's system...

Trojans, root-kits etc.pp. :frown:

But if there are plenty of Windows users...
No risk, no fun! :D
>>Certified Gangsta<< ehmmm... !?!
Don't say, you hadn't been warned!

How about an Open Source solution?
Would have the advantage of portable versions being quickly available...

Seriously? Or are you kidding?!

Because the biggest danger is that such unknown EXE-files may contain stuff, no virus scanner is able to detect, because of its unknown properties... :D

Some enlightening words from our friend *EddDaClown* would be fine now, I believe...

Interesting... Avast antivirus has no problem with it. And I've had jsMan on my computer here since my original post. I'm willing to bet on false positive.

probably that DIAL/Generic has same code to connect to the internet, because jsMan connect when you request an update of the program or of a javascript
