[solved] Need help configuring flash on the Dec 5 build for FreeBSD.

According to this Dec 05 changelog (http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/2006/12/05/phishing-unix-and-plug-ins),

For our FreeBSD users that would like to experiment with Flash on FreeBSD: getting Flash to work is (unfortunately) not completely straight-forward yet, but here is a little HOWTO:

1. Copy operapluginwrapper from the Linux static .1 archive to your local installation
2. Start Opera

I can't get this to work - not even sure where I should copy operapluginwrapper to. So far I've tried moving it to ~/.opera/plugins/, and /usr/local/share/opera/plugins/. I assume the 'linux static .1 archive' is opera-9.10-20061205.1-static-qt.i386-en-507.tar.bz2.

When I copied it to ~/.opera/plugins, simply nothing happens. If I replace the file at /usr/local/share/opera/plugins/, i get an error about my libnpp.so.

My plugin path is:

/usr/local/share/opera/plugins
/usr/local/lib/netscape/plugins
/usr/local/lib/pluginwrapper
/usr/home/me/.opera/plugins
/usr/local/lib/npapi/symlinks
/usr/local/lib/npapi/linux-flashplugin

Permissions for the operapluginwrapper:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 134500 Dec 6 04:29 libnpp.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 110520 Dec 6 04:22 operapluginwrapper

How to fix:
1. Put the linux operapluginwrapper in ~/.opera/plugins/
2. Copy the native libnpp.so from /usr/local/share/opera/plugins/ to /usr/local/share/opera/bin/

.. Worked for me. Thanks to AVL, in #opera.
