Timestamp for Notes
It would be very useful, if the Notes could have time value (hour, minute, second), not only date!

I don't know that I've ever cared when my notes were written, but I can see how this would be useful to people. Doesn't seem like it would be at all difficult to include.

Notes do have both date and time - in the tooltip. Would be nice if the separator bar between the tree view and the contents would show the date/time, the URL (if saved from a web page), and similar details.

Some forums have very long delay (sometimes even hours) for moderation. If I send a post at time A, and appear the new posts up to time B without my post, I can't know, if my time A post was later than time B, or my post was ignored (restricted). For me this is an everyday problem.

I can't see any timestamp in tooltip, only datestamp in Notes. Or is any setting feature for this?

Not that I know of, but perhaps the fact that I'm in Linux means my tooltips are different. If I hover any note (in the list view), I'll see text like "Created: 07/06/2006 04:37:26" ... along with any URL if there is one, and the full text of the note.

Yep, on my Mac it shows the time/date. However on my Windows machine (ack) it has no time stamp in the TT. Another example where cross-platform conformity would benefit the world's best browser (that is to say, get the time stamp in Windows, eh?).

Thanks for replies!
Corrected: Timestamp for Notes...for Windows, too!

If you look in your notes.adr file in your profile folder each note has a unix timestamp in the format "CREATED=1177390801"
Have a look
here to convert to a date and time.
Bit long winded I know, but I needed to find out when I had made a particular note.

Yes, I can see in the notes.adr, thanks!
So it would be easy to convert to standard windows format by Opera team.

+1 to show the time in Windows!
And I think the time and date should also be visible in the note itself, not only in the tooltip. In the note it should just be a bit different (or separated) than the text of the note content.

+1, the proper way to do it will be "Embed" the "time & date" in the beginning or at the End of the content inside the Note.
