Setting home page to Speed dial

Hi

I have searched, but can't seem to find a solution to my problem.

I really enjoy using speed dial and i would like the "home" button to go to the speed dial page. At the same time, i don't want to stop using the "continue from last time" feature. I don't want to start with speed dial, but i want it to appear when i click the Home button.

Ufortunately i can't just click "use current" while Speed dial is open...

I hope that made sense..

Anyway, hope you can help smile

what is wrong with using the 'new page' button?? - the homepage button is normally for a valid webpage, and 'speeddial' is not that!

Use a Mouse Gesture for new page, (or a keyboard)... it's faster. up

Drag this link to the toolbar where you want your Home speed dial. Then right click your old Home button and select Remove from toolbar.

Hey - thanks for showing how to make that speed dial button on the toolbar. getting picky now - but, anyway to keep the 'history' intact? what i mean is, the 'back' arrow is not functional after doing this. if not, no problem like i said...getting picky now. wish the opera folks included this though.

This is perhaps a little picky, but your button doesn't register the move from a webpage to speeddial in the history. So if you click 'back' you go back to the page before the page you were viewing when you click the 'Speed Dial' button.

It's a shame Opera hasn't made something like opera:speeddial URI for it.

Ignore me. I didn't realise that's it's toggle so you can display the speeddial on and off on the current page.

Hi,

I just found this and I really like the button. Is it possible to make it a customized button with on own icon which will show up under "own buttons" in the button options?
