how to: close option into right click menu

Hi,

I keep over 30 Urls pages open and use tab toolbar primarily for closing active window with mouse click to X.

Is there any other easy way to close active url window?

I know also right click to lext window pane and picking close from menu.

How to create to open window space under mouse right click menu a close option?

Tia.

Mouse gesture is one very easy way, while holding down the right mouse button move the mouse down then right, like as if you would be drwing an L. If you havn't used mouse gestures before they will take a bit of practice to get right, but once you've got the hang of them you will feel like as if someone have robbed you when using Internet Exploder, or plain vanilla Firefox.

If you have disabled mouse gestures you can re-enable them: Ctrl+F12 > Advanced > ShortcutsTick the Enable Mouse... box

Also, either shift-click or middle-click on the tab to close.

I have added a stand-alone, close page button to my toolbar.

I was able to do that until I had my ass kicked in SoF by some spotty teen for the umpteenth time, and my mouse suddenly saw itself turned into a ballistic missile. So now I am using an old mouse without wheel that I dug up from my drawer.

That still leaves shift-click.

Are you practicing for a Wii? I recall a website about ballistic wiimotes ...

I just edited my custom menu.ini. Adding close page to the context menu does work :left:

Where to find a close button to drag onto toolbar?
Tools/menu/appearance/button doesn't have it.

Where to shift-click to close url pane? Doesn't seem to work anywhere.

Also, either shift-click.

The Opera Wiki button page is one place to look.

It works on the tab bar, if you have that displayed. Above the address bar and below the menu, on most setups.
