[9562] Widget CPU usage

Hi, using this clock widget most of the time my cpu is nice and low, <1%. But after a while, loading some pages that use PDF/flash plugins, Opera is stuck using 14% CPU all the time. Closing all the pages, the CPU stays locked there. Closing the widget down restores Opera to ~0% CPU.

If the widget itself was responsible for the CPU usage, surely it would use the same CPU with Opera loaded, idle, and without any pages loaded? The fact that it starts usurpuing CPU after some (seemingly un-connected) page activity in Opera suggests an obscure Opera problem.

I'm running the clock right now with ~0% CPU usage. I accept that CPU usage figures will ultimately depend on the machine, and mine is a dualcore Athlon 4800+ (tests conducted in XP).

Downloaded the widget above, and have had running for many hours now, along with usage of sites which require both the flash and PDF plugins but cannot reproduce the issue here.

Opera idle CPU rarely goes above 1%, with 4% being the highest I've seen, once.

I'm on 9562, Vista 64-bit, Intel Quad Core 2.4GHz

Try loading up a couple of pages, one with flash content (say Youtube) and the other a PDF. Then go "back" on each page, and then "forward again". You might need to close the PDF, open a fresh one, then go back and forward. Something kicks the CPU problem in, once it's in, it remains - until the widget is closed.
