I'll consider this thread as a spam: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=217346
It is in wrong forum. Also person who opened the topic has continued to use that thread for personal purposes that are not related to forum.
Please either move tha forum to My Opera Lounge, or remove the whole thread, or lock it.

Removed, but you're in the wrong thread. This thread is for blog comments. You see that link over on the right side above every post that says "Report post"? Use that when a forum post is inappropriate or otherwise violates the rules.

OK, and thanks. I was not sure about 'Report post' because the thread I reported was not exactly offensive. But yes, against rules it was.

Hi, My Opera Team

The user with the next nicks: Calamardo Calamardo2 Calamardo3 Calamardo4 CalamardoReturn has been writing insults and threats again me in the blog of my group and so he is bothering not only to me but also to other readers of my blog.

He promised to continue his attacks in the future, possibly he will sign up with similar nicknames and so keeping his offensive

Please help me!

P.D. I already has put him in the ignore list (all his nicknames) and I had erased his comments but he insists and continue with his offensive comments

Somebody could spend all day goose-chasing this. (pick smilee)
What species of Bigfoot could be aloft here? I discovered this yesterday and suspect it occurred in past week.
Possibly the anonymous commenter, maybe the hacker that broke into Friends list (blog sticky post);
Some jerkogeekothug certainly;
Some stupid idiot with ridiculous political dependencies (the subject matter of the blog post infected);
Haven't ruled out errant Opera staff;
(Maybe same dope that deleted my last year's Christmas mp3s.)

Other glitches currently bugging my Opera experience: irked
Page design changes don't take effect

Anyways, I do look forward to knowing what brought on all that spam at my blog.

That is trackback spam rather than comment spam, and does not belong in this thread. You should be able to click "delete spam trackbacks" to delete them.

I don't mean to be out-of-line here; if there's another thread, gladly.....
If this warrants a thread of it's own,
Gee Whiz, I guess after 18 months in this forum, I'm now well on my way toward official bonified geek status.

There are buttons for deleting the trackbacks, nevertheless I'd really appreciate some explanation how that 8 page list of
spam trackbacks occurred.
Can you tell me anything about this strange phenomenon?
How often does it occur? Is it really a big problem plagueing the blogosphere? etc.
I read some wikipedia articles; still that doesn't explain how this sort of spam actually happens so that sites can armor against it.

You have likely enabled trackbacks for your blog, which is why they would be appearing. Disable them if you want to avoid spam. (To learn more about trackbacks, a Google search will give you lots of information.)

Backtrackers Bananymous? (dreaded new thread title)

Thanx for the re-veerence over google & wiki way; I know a bit more now;
Encouraging me to keep trackbacks enabled here for a while.
(I’m not holding my breath for any great links from outside Opera…..you never know though…...)

I have screen shots and docs of this instance, including the great delete of spam tb
that left a silly remaining 16 trackbacks all of the same sort rest of the 17 pages of TBs I deleted as spam (sping).
Haven’t the foggiest how these are any different from the spam.
In fact; they are not even present in the 17 pages of what can be detected by moderately patient investigator.
I’ll get rid of them when the novelty wears off, or if bothersome or boring.
(“8 pages” was a grossly understated guess from a quick scroll count). These new stats are precise and accurate.

Welcome back from holiday!

Please use the contact form at the bottom of the page for that. I'm afraid it would take too long for me to figure out who is doing what. Accounts that are being abused will be banned. To prevent abuse, one should set a password which is difficult to guess.

Can't ban an anonymous user, that's a problem with allowing anonymous posts to a blog. But caju is gone ... animefangirl4ever will probably want to change that post (or all her posts) to not allow anonymous comments, then delete those anonymous comments herself.

User illuseopera leaves a comment in nearly every widget page telling us to visit some stupid zombie brain-eating page with reference ID. Slightly annoying (read: Adam, if you ever visit Norway, contact me and I'll show you all my fancy zombie skills).
