Report PM (Private Message) spam here

Please report Private Message spammers in this thread.

Before reporting PM spam, read this carefully:

This thread is only to be used to report private message spam (not spam in blogs, forums, etc.)
Only report the spammer's username (preferably with a link to the spammer's about page - my.opera.com/USERNAME/about/), and we will look into it
Make sure that the user hasn't already been reported by someone else before posting. It is only necessary to report spam from a user once
Do not use this thread to post comments that are not actual spam reports

The previous two have already been banned too so no need to try there.

Gee, I get to report and ban ma77 all by myself. "She" sent me a typical Nigerian scam PM ... if you got one too don't bother reporting it here as I already took care of her.

Do you find it offensive or threatening? If so, that would be enough - otherwise we could just tell him to leave you alone, or to watch the language ...

And of course you can also "block" him, which would prevent him from sending you PMs. If you click on that link, you'll see a "Block User" button.

Edit: I see stella08 has already been banned.

If you actually read the message, the sender's name (on the page that displays the message text) is a link to their profile. Right-click on the name, Copy link address, and paste it here ... but presuming you had typed it correctly I could get it from what you have. Unfortunately I'm not finding anyone by the name you typed, so you must have a typo in there somewhere ...

I forgot to mention that I use a Nintendo Wii, so I can't right-click on anything. Sorry...

When I received the PM, I searched for "her" profile and it was there, so I reported the PM here soon afterwards, but about an hour later, the message in my inbox disappeared, so I searched for "her" profile again and that disappeared too, so I thought the user was already taken care of. But you're right, it might've been a typo...though I'm sure it was rossybabylove.

They appear to have modified the search function so it no longer finds banned users, if I try to go directly to her profile http://my.opera.com/rossybabylove/about then it will tell me she's already banned. Certain behaviors like sending too many messages to people who are not your friends in a short period of time will make the system ban someone automatically and remove the sent messages, apparently that happened to her.
