Adblock Pluse (from Firefox) in Opera
Hi, I just want to ask is it possible to convert that plugin from Firefox.I think that their solution is much better than yours.
Opera has a better engine, it uses less memory, but firefox has better way to avoid advertisments.
That's why I can't migrate to opera and has chosen solutions similar to Swiftfox.

Hi there,
This is exactly why I don't use Opera that much. Everyone tells you "use urlfilter.ini". But If you've ever used Adblock Plus you never want to miss it again. It works WAY better than Operas' filter.
At first you can subscribe to a list of your choice. For me a filter list from a german author works very well. Then it updates automatically. You won't ever see it again, it does this by itself in the background.
But it does more than just hide the ads or block them- it changes the CSS of the site you're viewing so that it looks like there never was any advertisement.
Try it and you know what I mean. After a few days you won't ever touch any other browser..

i formerly used ff, so i do know adblock plus - and yes it is very good. but now i am using opera and therefore i cannot use it anymore...
after making my own urlfilter.ini (merging tamils and fanboys urlfilter.ini, approx 28KB) i am quite happy with that. works fine for me.
(the only thing i really miss from ff is gtranslate - thats a fine addon)
