How to know if a site is logging my IP or not?

Is there any way (like tool, software, plug-in, user js or whatever) to know the site I am visiting is logging my IP or not? It would be nice if I get a popup that "site you are about to visit might record your IP, do you want to continue ..? "

Does it sound realistic at all? I am not sure. Just something came to my mind that it would be great if this functionality is possible.

Please cast your thoughts on this.

Not realistic. Logging your IP is a server thing, it can't be identified from the web content (unless they come out and say it). Nor is there any way for you to know beforehand, unless some group keeps track (you know, like the people who track phishing sites) and you could look it up there. Presume that any forum will log your IP so that if you misbehave and they have to ban you they can recognize you when you try to re-register, beyond that I'm not sure ...

Not realistic at all. You have no way to know or control whether the server logs your IP ( usually it will ).
