Removing plugins from Opera

Removing plugins from Opera

I need to remove Yahoo and realplayer plugin from Opera but there are no dll files in Plugins directory. How can i do that ?

I can still see all the plugins in my plugins page. yahoo and realplayer

yes i did. Only this path is there

C:\Program Files\Opera 9.5 beta\program\plugins

And what's actually listed in Tools > Advanced > Plugins (aka opera:plugins).

I uninstalled Opera and uninstalled all the folders related to Opera and still the new installation does the same thing. There are lots of plugins listed again.

Opera's installer normally looks for common locations where WMP and Flash might be installed. What's listed for your plugin path currently?

well you could also use a text editor - and if you are that daring, you will know where... If you don't, you could ruin your installation...

I dont want any useless plugins such as yahoo, realplayer, veoh, because i never use them in Opera.

You don't need that yahoo plug-in. see this post and you can simply delete it from its own directory.

Usually, for real and others, you have options to select/unselect plug-in for browser. But that not always the case. I recommend you install real alternative instead of actual real player.
