Thank you Tamil. I've just added another 9 to keyboard.ini using alt 1 - 9 and now have 18!
I do like Opera's .ini files - a civilised way of doing things.

And then they also might work with the numbers higher than 9! That would be sooooooo nice!

What's the point of having 9+ sites in one tab?

1 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 1
2 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 2
3 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 3
4 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 4
5 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 5
6 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 6
7 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 7
8 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 8
9 ctrl=New page & Go to speed dial, 9
1 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 10
2 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 11
3 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 12
4 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 13
5 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 14
6 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 15
7 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 16
8 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 17
9 alt=New page & Go to speed dial, 18
I tried to modify the standard_keyboard.ini so that Ctrl+F5 would work; this was a failure but did result in a new file being created: standard_keyboard(1).ini in Program Files\Opera9\profile\keyboard\ and this survives the upgrading process.

Im kind of inexperienced in doing this
can you please take me thru
the process a step at a time
I'm looking for 18 windows
I followed some of this thread
and got to the speeddial.ini screen
and see the individual notation
for my 9 windows, but I am not
sure where to go from there.
Also I am warned not to do anything while
Opera is running...so I'm a bit confused.

Opera might consider some type of tool inside the Peferences for us to pick how many speed dials for us =]
it is already asked for and I believe (and hope) they will consider it in next versions.

It's easy enough to manually edit the .ini, that's not a problem at least for me. But I noticed that Sync works with the default 9 pages only. Is it further possible to fix that? (Yeah, that's for the 'Wishlist" forum, but I prefer posting in an existig topic first
)
if you have those pages added to bookmarks, it appears in bookmarks and synced. At least i see all of them. It looks like http://redir.opera.com/speeddials/?id=1 etc in my bookmark list.

on either before and after Speed Dial 1-9, but it wont work, I use Opera 9.52.10103. I think I like to have either 15 or 20. Show me the example of speeddial.ini, and I will do edit to make it working right. Thanks...
I have thought of adding links like one in Start Bar on both side of Speed Dial 1-9, instead of many speed dials which not enough... With Links that will add about 15 links on each side, easier to do than Start Bar? What do you think? If it is good, then forward to someone in Opera whom will know how to add it?
Smile... Andrew
P.S. Added Desktop Wishlist with example of SpeedDial with Links on each sides:

Yes he did, by quoting his post I could see, that he already used
[Size]M/B he should only have closed OPERA and have it restarted after the change...

I did tried on before and after Speed Dial 1-9, nothing changed??? I do not understand or is it to do with bug with version 10103? I cannot figure out why it wont work?
Here is my speeddial.ini:
Opera Preferences version 2.1
; Do not edit this file while Opera is running
; This file is stored in UTF-8 encoding
(Speed Dial 1)
.
.
.
(Speed Dial 9)
(Size)
Rows=3
Columns=5

I am using exactly that configuration on build 10103, and everything is fine...
I tried to add Speed Dial from 10 to 20 with Rows and Columns number, and I restarted Opera, it is nothing, and stuck with 9.

Yes, I did edit it in my profile folder... I still dont understand why it won't work??? Should I delete opera(?).ini to reset and default, that will solve this problem?
