Suggestion: Enable Ctrl+Click for open-link-in-background-window
I like a lot of the features of Opera, but one of the main reasons I can't change is habit!Being a long-time user of Firefox, and more recently IE7, I am used to opening a link in a new tab by holding the Ctrl key and clicking with the left mouse.
In Opera, I can perform the same function with Ctrl-Shift-Click, but I can't get used to that change (and I don't really think I should have to).
I've tried playing around with the shortcut preferences (see <a href="http://tough-to-find.blogspot.com/2007/09/heres-something-that-people-may-find.html">here</a>), but to no avail.
It would be fantastic if this could be optionally-enabled. I would then be far more likely to switch to Opera as my main browser.
Hy. I find a userjs. open-in-background-with-ctrl.js
If you using Opera 9.5 you must set Ctrl+F12->Advanced->Content->Javascript options->Allow lowering of windows.

Penge is absolutely right. Then after doing what he says, go to Ctrl+F12->Advanced->Content->Javascript options-> and look at the 'User Javascript folder' and open it. then copy the text on that link Penge gave and paste it into a text file and save it in the 'User Javascript Folder'. Be sure to then rename the filename and extension of the text file to user.js
