Orkut gives mobile version only
I have nokia n73 and i'm using operamini 4.1 browser,when i open www.orkut.com,brower automatically opens the page m.orkut.com,mobile version of orkut,i'm opera since long time but i havent faced this kind of prob,i have opened orkut's web page frm operamini so many times before but now its opening the mobile version of orkut. . . OMG, 
. Yesterday i was getting the desktop version. Now the mobile view .
I will look for a workaround to get the desktop view back until they fix this issue.
EDIT: Consider changing the thread title. It isnt up to the point.

.hmm my thoughts.. gotta first figure out what influences it, is it the browser or a server side script that detects a mobile OS and redirects?
For e.g. myspace.com with S60 browser redirects to http://m.myspace.com/offdeckverus/login.wap which is the mobile site but OM 4.1 can access myspace.com full site without redirecting.
I dont use Orkut so it doesn't really matter but for those who do, Orkut should at least post this change on their stupid blog. Facebook rocks!

.Here's a slightly shorter URL that forces the non-mobile version of Orkut:

It seems to work whether you are already logged into your Google account or not. If you're not logged in it prompts you for user id and password of course.

Atlast italian google is also updated nw no more orkut n .it domain..

when i try the links provided by u guys i get a page displaying a message that the server has acted in in unexpected manner (or something like that)

1. log out of orkut. 2. Synchronise ur operamini. 3. Click on link for google italian page. Find orkut. Add Bookmark or save on speed dial. 4. U can see desktop version of orkut. Enter username & password. If u log out u will be directed to mobile version page. Dont mind. Each time u click that saved bookmark or speed dial u will see desktop version. Or Better never logout of orkut and each time u click bookmark or speed dial, U can see ur orkut profile directly.

Hi i am kashif and i am a newuser of operamini 4.1 and i am using it frm last 2month.Before when i use to open orkut website with operamini 4.1 it open in Desktop view i was very happy and satisfy with that view but suddenly it had start opening in mobileview and its to boring to use that view plz help me out and give a solution to this problem
