Alternative to Roboform with Opera - KeePass
For people who like Roboform and use Opera, perhaps you could give a try to this freeware called KeePass. It's not same perful as Roboform but it can fill in forms.

Wand is sufficient for most things. I'm not in favor of programs like RoboForm storing so much personal information.

Wand is very good but I am not comfortable using it for storing my financial site credentials...for that I have been using Keepass for over 3 years now and I recommend that in a heartbeat...
For all other sites which just needs to login to work on the forums...Wand is the way to go....

Opera's wand doesn't hold a candle to roboform. It fails to work on various sites I use, and which have been reported by me on every version release since v8.0. Yes, some might be uncomfortable with it, but why take away a feature for everyone just because a few don't know how to configure their systems securely or use safe browsing habits? Roboform encrypts data using 256bit AES Encryption, the same as keepass, and as such your data should be safe as long as you don't use a password which is 3 characters long.

Same point applies, anyone who uses a simple password for their encryption key or doesn't use encryption at all has a reason to worry about storing information in these programs. I ensure all of my data is encrypted and as such, sleep easy knowing that even if my files are hijacked, it will be unlikely that they can do anything with the data.

Hi, the ONLY reason why Im not using opera anymore is that I cant use roboform. It is a wounderful browser, fast and easy to use. People says use this use that, o even use wand, but when it comes to portability there is no competition at all. As many others I have a lot of different accounts everywhere, starting from internet shop to forums and etc. The problem is that it is impossible to remember so many different passwords ( I alwasys use different - using built in roboform generator) and you have to use some kind of software to keep them all in one place. Using robform I can install add-on it to my PDA (win mobile) and have all the passwords securely encrypted in my pocket. And another reason is that I do need to reinstall my windows quite often ~2 time a month, so the wand is absolutely useless in this scenario. I am just trying to understand why opera's developers not listening to what users want but just give us what they want. Instead of inventing something what is already invented how about polishing something what is already invented to perfection, to make users and not developers happy

I completely agree. I'd like to use Opera- but I won't 'cos there's no way of transferring my many Roboform passcards to Wand, or to use Roboform in Opera.
Firefox has a couple of annoying traits (bugs? oh no!)- so I've surrendered on that (one failure mode => a Firefox running, no GUI, can't kill the process, => restart PC to use a browser).
I'm betting Opera would be more reliable. But alas.. no compatibility, no Opera.
So for now it's IE and Maxthon.

So you're going to open yourself up to malware and drive-by downloads just to use secure passwords (even though Opera's wand encrypts all passwords when you set a master password).
yeah, great trade off buddy.

Ummm, drive-by downloads? Malware? Have you used firefox? Have you used any version of IE post IE6 SP2? I have used both and have not had a single piece of malware infect my PC due to a web browser security fault.
I highly suggest you stop spreading FUD, or back up your "claims" with some references showing all of these "Drive-by downloads" that have "plagued" firefox as you claim.
