Currently I have a workaround with the really great nircmd tool. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html. The command "nircmdc win -style class OpWindow 0x00C00000" removes the title bar from all Opera windows. I just run this after I start Opera. I have an "execute program" button to run the script from within the browser.

When I run this command with
nircmd win -style class OpWindow 0x00C00000my auto-hidden taskbar becomes inaccessible, and Alt-Tab bewteen applications does not work anymore.
Opera's window title bar, however, stays where it is.
