9.50 beta (UIQ): Any chance for low memory phones?

Is there any chance that Opera Mobile 9.5 will be realeased for Sony Ericsson M600i - little brother of P1i?

It doesn't seem to work on P990i either, it can be installed, but doesn't start up... :-(

I don't know if this is indicator of anything but when I close/quit Opera 9.5 beta on my P1i , Swiss manager pro says "24 MB of RAM freed"

About 20 - 30 MB or RAM usage?
Impossible for P990, M600....

Dear opera developers!

I would really appreciate to use Opera 9.5 on my SE M600i. I had an option to test this browser in HTC Diamond. I really like this new version and I do not want to buy new device just due to this fact. I want to buy new opera instead of that.

Is there any chance to have a low memory version?

I think it have already told that "Opera Mobile for SonyEricsson P1, W960, G700 and G900"
is it the wifi problem.

its not the wifi...its lack of RAM

again...the widgets app should be doable...s60 v3 version works even on an N80, that also has very low free RAM

I must also tell that I am a very conservative type of user who quits apps when not in use, stays away from multiple tabs because I am a former S60 user.

I mean that figure may grow if it is actually used in UIQ3 way like Mac. Never close apps etc.

You're right ares07, the problem is a lack of RAM on the P990, M600, and W950. We're doing some pretty memory intensive stuff when zooming, scrolling etc. ATM there are no plans for a low-memory version of Opera 9.5 on UIQ, sorry.

Right again, a widget app should be doable also on the low-mem phones. I cannot promise anything but it's an interesting idea.

cool!!! you can make it so that whenever the widget need to open the browser, it triggers 8.65 instead (on p990, M600 and W950)
