Tab Tearing in Opera 10?
I've searched for this on Google and these forums, but found no results. Does Opera 10 have a way to do "tab tearing" as Safari does? What I mean by this is that by left clicking a tab and dragging it out of the current window, it causes creation of a new window containing that tab. At the moment, when I try this, it results in dropping the bookmark on my desktop.I'm using OS X if it matters.
Thanks!

In windows, it works mainly if you drag it to the taskbar, or if you have another opera window open and drag it to another set of tabs.

Wow I didn't know it could do that! Seems to work as you described under Windows Vista 32-bit. Plus you can drag the tab back into the main window if you want.
Maybe it doesn't do that under OS X? Or you need to hold down the Apple key or something? (I don't use OS X so I can't compare, sorry)

Opera calls it "detach", and has had it since version 7. There were some changes between 9.2x and 9.5, previously a detached tab didn't have a menu or sidebar. In Linux, you have to right-click on the tab (in the tab bar) and select Detach from the context menu. Sorry, no idea about OSX either.
