Duplicate or/and unsync search engines in Opera link

Hello,

I have been using Opera both at home and at work for a long time.
I had just a few duplicate notes when I first used Opera link to sync everything (right from its start).

But now, all of a sudden, I noticed duplicate search engines (at home only).
I deleted the duplicates but it seems that I deleted the synced ones because, at work, I have no search engine anymore now.

I should have deleted the other duplicates if I had knew there was un-synced.

I didn't know there were some items synchronized and some other unsynchronized.

How can I do now ? My search engines are only at home.

Thank you.

Thanks everyone ! (^_-)

So I tried to make those search to appear again at work by editing them at home (I edited their keyword).
This made the sync work partially. It only sent the keyword but not the whole search URL and parameters from home to work.

I only have empty search engines (with a name and a keyword but nothing else).

I guess I have to edit all their fields to make a full synchronisation. This is strange, somehow.

Now I added trailing characters the URL and edited them back again to proper value to make them sync.
Now My search names are blank.

I think I have to edit every fields and back to proper value to make everything resync.
It's very strange.

I'm observing the same issue:

Searches which existed (with functionally unimportant URL differences, but same keyword and title) on two computers before first synching caused duplicates on one machine. Removing the duplicates caused the corresponding entries to disappear on the other machine, without the corresponding entry from the first machine being copied over. Result, no more Google or Wikipedia search for me at work.

In Opera 9.64, synching Search Engines should be considered BETA status at best. It's a shame we are not warned ahead of time.

Similarily, synching Bookmarks on several machines to me seems to create more problems (duplicates which keep reappearing) than it solved, even though I have not researched this topic in detail.

I love Opera, and the customizable search feature, but this synching stuff is IMHO just not ready for a stable build yet...
