Opening multiple tabs via Speed Dial
Did you know it is possible to open a Saved Session via Speed Dial?It is!!
Edit your Speed Dial URL and point it to your preferred .win using the file:// protocol.
For example
file://localhost/c:/progra~1/opera/profile/session/TechStuff.win
2 caveats:
1. make sure your session file does not have spaces. The URL will convert them to %20 and the link won't work.
2. The title will be the actual path and the whole thing probably will not fit on the screen, especially the part that actually lists which .win file you are pointing to, so you may want to move your .win files further up the tree. (e.g. file://localhost/c:/TechStuff.win)

Brilliant!!
Edit: Further tip for anyone on windows xp, not wanting to change the default location of their Opera sessions folder (c:\documents and settings\blah blah....Opera\sessions\) you can use the old archaic DOS paths to enter the path without spaces: C:\Docume~1\blah blah....
Or C:\Progra~1\blah blah... if you've a single user install, or even C:\Progra~2\blah blah... if like me you've a single user install on a 64-bit OS. Phew.. complexity.
