I can't autoupdate from build 1285 sad The update is downloaded correctly but when I restart, installer window only blinks and Opera opens immediately without any updating.

@Olli
Why does your link refer to peregrine build? Have we received an upgrade from Presto 2.2?

This is an extract from Opera Core concerns dated 25 Feb 2009

New in Opera Presto 2.2: TLS 1.2 Support

By yngve.

TLS, SSL, presto, opera ...
One of the new, but less obvious, features in Opera Presto 2.2 and Opera 10 is support for version 1.2 of the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, the protocol formerly known as SSL...

I'm using modified Opera 9.2 Keyboard bindings. Until the last build CTRL-(number) opened AND closed the corresponding panel.
But now it only opens, and doesn't close and anymore... :-/

This is the command:
Focus panel, "bookmarks" | Hide panel, -1 | Set alignment, "hotlist", 0

What's your problem? Opera 10 Engine == Presto 2.2

Not problem, just confusion. Opera 9.5 and 9.6 = kestrel, Opera 10 = peregrine.

I've seen a name for the next version (Opera 10.5? Opera 11?), but perhaps they'll change their minds so I'll let them worry about it ...

I don't know if this is a problem on my side, but this snapshot (and the Turbo Build) seem to not cache Flash (games). After closing the browser the games on Nitrome.com and Kongregate.com always have to reload sad

My 1285 doesn't even tell me there's a new version. I had to come seeking and peering in the forums to find it out!?! How can we get notifications of new snapshots?

Panels dont close anymore.

Me uses a completely different system:
Debian sid
Version 10.00
Internal Build 4205
Platform Linux
System i686, 2.6.27-10.slh.1-sidux-686
Qt library 3.3.8b
Java Java Runtime Environment installed

Do i need to create a topic / bug report or is this post sufficient to look at that regression?

There seems to be a problem displaying sertain news messages.

NOt sure how and why, but my wife mentioned it when I got home.
This is my browser: Opera/10.00 (Windows NT 5.1; U; nl) Presto/2.2.0 build 1345.
The problem does not show when I turn off the preview pane.

This is the RSS news item it hangs on: http://news.google.nl/?output=rss
The item is: (tuesday march 17 2009 23:46:35) Lager vonnis Tribunaal klap voor aanklager - Volkskrant.

Here's another one: Artsen verdeeld over nut screenen prostaat - NRC Handelsblad (19-3-2009 13:18)

If needed I have a memorydump (opera.exe.mdmp) and a dll-list (appcompat.txt).

Works fine if you identify as Firefox, so I have to say it is a problem with their code.

But in the earlier Alfa it is ok! Only the latest version brake this, so who is wrong can be debated!

10 is still having a strange probelm with interia's sites (http://muzyka.interia.pl/teledyski/teledysk/rany,250094)

Once the page fully loads, it loads http://muzyka.interia.pl/s/g/box.html (which is blank), making the site worthless. I believe the box.html is supposed to be a frame in the larger page, but starting in Opera 10, it is opening it as a total page in the same tab/window, thus not letting you see the page you want.

If I time it right, I can try to hit the stop button just as the main page loads and prevent the box.html from loading. This is, however, hit and miss, depending on timing.

I don't see a problem, but you could always try blocking it.

Blocking that page (http://muzyka.interia.pl/s/g/box.html) means that the videos and video player doesn't load as well, resulting in the same unusable page.

Viewing an image (direct link) while the ImageAutosizer.js user script is enabled causes the last couple Opera builds to crash.
Same for Autosizer2.js

I've had the same kind of crash but are you sure it's autosizer? I assumed that was the culprit too at first but it turned out to have been another USerJS (maintain scroll position). What other scripts do you have?

Assuming this is the same bug, it has been reported as #DSK-248587

@Zotlan
When I remove autosizer.js from my UserJS folder, it all works fine.
I'll try with only Autosizer (no other UserJS) and update in a bit.

[EDIT1]
You were right, sorry. It's not the Autosizer script. Next i thought that was caused by the ImgThumb.js script, or its interaction with Autosizer/some other script, but (see next edit)...

Here are the scripts i'm currently using:

a-improve-dtt-blog-prefs.js
cg_browser.xul.js
cg_javascript.js
cg_prefs.xul.js
cg_urls.rdf.js
cg_web_texts.js
detect-opera-sniffing.js
extra-download-links.js
flash-quality.js
google-translate.js
ImageAutosizer.js
improve-dtt-blog.js
linkify-txt.js
pretty-xml-tree.js
smir_common.js
snap-links.js
ueb.user.js
xerath-plugsome-toolbar.js
xerath-power-drag.js
YousableTubeFix.js
zoom-image.user.js

btw. could someone tell me the origin of the cg_*.js scripts, please ? I can't recall where/how i got these confused

[EDIT2]
I just got couple crashes while trying to resize an image (direct URL) via the xerath-power-drag.js script, just holding the Shift key while hovering the image causes a crash. Guess I'll give up on hunting for the responsible script for now (ife there is one at all)...

Whichever script is causing all those, i don't think ANY script should be able to crash a browser, no matter if it's Opera, IE, or whatever. Fortunately, this build (Turbo) isn't a final release p

Just came about http://www.amazon.de/gp/browse.html?node=77195031 . Does the scrolling list (like it's displayed in FF) work for someone in any Opera version? (I just tested this Snapshot)

In Opera's folder /locale create a folder with the language name, paste the files there and restart Opera.
