Any visible images have invalid or missing ALT attributes

I have this bar at the top of every page I try to open that says "Any visible images have invalid or missing ALT attributes." The rest of the webpage (& that's every page I attempt to open, including 'opera help') is either blank or contains only bits of images. Show images is checked & I checked out that referrer issue; it's not that. This first happened after I had watched a you tube video that I had accessed from a web page. I restarted Opera, restarted the machine, ran spybot search & destroy, but to no avail. I'm using Opera 9.64 & Vista. Any Ideas?

You're running a user javascript, probably the one intended to convert Alt attributes to title attributes, and it is telling you that there was nothing for it to do on the page. Disable user javascript or just that one,

Hi & thanks for your speedy reply; but to my knowledge I am not running any user javascript. I did go into preferences->advanced->content->javascript options (the user javascript field was blank). Speed dial renders the webpages normally, but when I click on one, it brings up that bar with that "Any visible images have invalid or missing ALT attributes." text. Whatever this is, (as I said before) it happened while I was browsing some youtube videos from a webpage.

You were so right! You guys absolutely rock!!! thank you so much! This was driving me nuts. I've been using Opera about 12+ years now, & was not about to give it up but this was sooo frustrating. Blessings to you & yours. alyM

I had this same problem for a few minutes until I googled and ended up to this thread. View -> Style -> Alt debugger was the culprit. Everything ok now, thank you.
