Rabbit is here. Testing
OM5b2 posting bug.
Test steps for Opera mini 5 beta 2:
1) Go to
http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=374761 (this page)
2) Visit some other page by following the links (e.g. link for forums home
http://my.opera.com/community/forums/ )
3) Hit history back button to get back here.
4) Write something into quick post form.
5) Submit and scroll down to see if message posted. If it does, then no bug this time. If it looks like form is not posted, do not try to submit again, but continue to next step.
6) Reload page. If you get blank page, reload again. Now you should see the message being submitted after all.
If something being retrieved or done while writing a post on form or using advanced search, it causes a situation when cached form does not look like being submitted although it is.
This is written to be used on official Opera Mini bug report.

Similar thing seems to happen when using MyOpera advanced search on OM5b2. When you select search parameter to limit search, it kind of increment the history in cache, or something like that. When search form submitted, it sometimes looks like nothing has happened. Then it's better to reload instead of clicking submit again, to find out if search was submitted after all.

i = Nintendo? Do you have Opera Mini on it? I didn't knew there's network connection and JVM on Nintendos
Anyway, the
OM5b2 "cached form submit bug" still exists after last OM server upgrade, and that's what I was testing here.

It isn't exactly Mini, but it is Opera. It can display websites in either small screen rendering or standard, in standard rendering one screen shows an overview of the whole page (zoomed out) while the other shows full-sized. You can swap the two screens (since only the lower screen is a touch screen), when the overview is the lower screen you can drag around the rectangle for the magnified view to quickly find whatever looks interesting. If the full-sized view is the lower screen, you can click on links and such. Of course the on-screen keyboard isn't great ...

Ignored? Should be. I mean, should it parse 147.58 as if it were a link? Desktop Opera won't even parse www.opera.com (and neither will the forum without the protocol).

You mean the rabbit that starts
here? Yep, that's one of the Opera Mini bugs that is not yet fixed. Jumping to page anchors just does not work correctly on Opera Mini 5 beta 2. Although, there are also server side issues with page anchors at MyOpera pages. For example links from news does not jump directly to last comment even on desktop Opera.
Notice: I'm just using this thread for testing OM anomalies, so I'm not necessarily seeking any answers here

The anomaly started with 2 months before beta 1 since gemal.dk/browserspy is loaded in 30s instead 4s with om4. Btw I put 'edit: ...' via quick reply after page reloding and after that I hit the submit button again. Result: first time the message was posted without the 'edit: ...' part. This is a test: I put my rabbit under test.

This post is for testing how quoting of long messages work on OM5b2, because
I noticed some issues since last server update.

Yes, it is long enough for this test. About same size I had troubles with when trying to quote, edit, and reply last Saturday using Opera Mini 5 beta 2. However, now it looks like I'm not able to replicate the issue, although others say
they have had similar problems even after Saturday. Last Opera Mini server update was on Friday, so I suspect this has something to do with that.
And once again folks, I'm just testing and trying to replicate the issue

Testing for SKIRNE-67362
EDIT: On Opera Mini 5.1 (final) SKIRNE-67362 has reappeared after some server updates. This seem to happen at least for me when using built 5.1.21051 on socket connection and when at MyOpera there's mobile view selected. Moreover, I'm using full screen edit on OM 5.1.
