Opera Skin Editor beta

Hi all tweakers!

I've created an online skin editor for Opera where you can tweak and modify existing skins.
I hope this will be usable for both novice users who don't like messing with ini-files, and those advanced users who like to play with obscure key/value combos to check out the effect.

Feedback and suggestions are very much appreciated, and please report any bugs you find in this thread.

Hope you like it!! (and yes, I'll probably create some alternate stylesheets for those who don't like brown) bigsmile

I also tried adding MeGuiDdo, but it seems like there are some weird stuff going on with the images.
Anyone else experienced any trouble with that skin??

Every time that I try to add a background image to speed dial it defaults to the origin opera skin, but the strange thing is I had it working until I lost my profile when i reformatted my hard drive. But it works fine with no changes. I just want to get rid of the white background.

I tried to use the editor with the latest build (1729) of opera 10 and it returns a lot of errors like
"Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/home/web/wno14525/.tmp/sess_8ab77585469297515f86b2ba44fab76f, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /usr/home/web/wno14525/opera/skineditor/index.php on line 2"

Unfortunately,

as has been pointed out by others since a long time and many versions ago, all that the online skin editor at http://www.Bachius.com/opera/skineditor/ does is display a lot of .php errors.

Is there no real, current, updated, offline skin editing program available for Opera anywhere?

Unlikely to happen if Opera keep changing the skin format and doesn't keep backward compatibility with old formats.

The format hasn't really changed, they just added a simplified alternative. Old skins would work to a degree - they'd just be lacking various bits and pieces.
