Er... popularity based on what index? The number of page views, or downloads, or finally, image submissions?

If you want to add your wallpaper, post its URL in this thread. If you have previously added your wallpapers in some thread, but don't see it in the unnofficial list, please remind me of their location, and I will place them.

Voila

Thank you. Hope you guys like the new addition. smile

i am not sure what you mean about the gradient. are you talking about its color or the way it blends with the background or ...? i appreciate any suggestions or comments.

What I meant was, the red colors give a warm feel, and the blue colors give a cold feel.

There is a large amount of red (warmth) in the wallpaper, and little blue (cold), which seems odd to me. I think if you used another warm color inplace of blue, the wallpaper would seem better.

But its really upto you. I seem to be extra color sensitive. :clown:

Whats warm and whats cold?

Stately blue does not tolerate warm colors around, generally.

I think it is rather a question of the amount of/balance between the complementary colors than the colors themselves. So what do you think of this ?

After browsing the site I was inspired to create my own Unofficial wallpaper for Opera.

Here is a sample in 800x600 px. Let me know if you guys want a bigger one so I'll upload it.

http://www.info.com.ph/~bryanong/is800.jpg

It's a race track so I thought it's suitable for Opera since the browser is pretty speedy and good.
Here 2 stop, 2 seize, and 2 interrupt.

I will, gladly smile

I am interested in transparency, these days. The trouble with real-world images, say, landspace images, is that they are too dark, if converted to alpha. I am still thinking of getting to the point where the transparency is continuously progressed from a certain point in a pre-specified direction. My means are limited. What I want to do is better achieved on a deeper level, in an application like Illustrator or Freehand. I have the latter, but the learning curve is too steep for me, and the interface is way too different from what I am used to.

My computer is proudly Photoshop-free, though.
