New Yahoo! Mail, BLOCKED Opera today

Yesterday I still was able to open my Yahoo! Mail. Today, this is what Opera showed me I do have IE8, but Opera is much FASTER...Firefox I don't like at all; and Safari does not work too well on WindowsXP.

Thank You, hoppe there is some fix for this anoyance...

Have you tried identifying or masking Opera as IE or Fx on just that site (from the right-click site preferences)?

I had long ago moved to Yahoo Classic, as I was and still have used a WebTV/MSNTV box for access there. When I first encountered it with an OPERA browser, I could really only shrug and move on back to the Yahoo Classic option. Other utility there may be lost but at least I can then delete all the spam that accumulates there (I hadn't looked there in awhile) ?8^)~

Weird.

Opera 10.5 worked perfectly for me. W7 32bit here.

I went to Tools at Opera top menu, and I clicked right on Yahoo! Mail page, but I do not locate any "identifying or masking Opera as IE" menu in either way: where do I find it? Please explain for the retarded ( me!)

Quick Preferences

To immediately change content, pop-up, or network settings, press F12 to go to the Quick preferences. These settings will affect your currently active tab as well as all tabs opened after the setting was changed.
Site preferences are most easily added and edited by right-clicking a page while browsing the site and selecting "Edit site preferences". This will bring up a small preference dialog where you can adjust pop-up, content, cookie, and network settings for the site.

Actually, that made matters worst I reverted to Opera 10.10 instead and now I have Yahoo! mail chat back, in Classic mode.

i have problems with classic and new yahoo mail as well.

tried masking as IE but still doesnt work. im using 10.51 with win 7 32-bit.

Here I include Opera 10.10 link, it did solve many of my problems...well, browsing with 10.51 problems, that is (maybe, in the near future, Opera will solve my personal problems as well ) Download Opera 10.10

haha donyan, i jus upgraded from 10.10. my god...this sucks.

With Firefox 3.6.3 installed issues are solved & no back-up needed from IE8: the SLOWEST browser of planet Earth (plus FREEZES all the time) Opera...

NO

For yahoo to work, you need to set Opera to identify as Opera
and make sure that Opera uses his/her browser.js file which you can check on http://www.opera.com/docs/browserjs/
