Why are images pixelated/fuzzy?
Whenever I'm on any site that has colours/photos, they're always pixelated/fuzzy. Why is this happening and what can I do to change this?I have the most current version of Opera and I'm running Windows 7 Starter. I've had Opera on my PC 2 or 3 times before, and only once has this happened (other then this time).
Turn off Opera Turbo.
Opera 12.16 build 1860 Windows Vista Premium SP2

Opera Turbo is SUPPOSED to make your pictures look like that. The idea of Opera Turbo is you only turn it on if you have a slow connection.
Opera Turbo will send all of your web requests via the Opera servers in Norway. That then lets all the images get extra compression applied, making them smaller and quicker to download. Trouble is, the pay-off is this also trashes the quality. Ideal if you are quickly reading news articles on a slow line.
If you have a decent Broadband connection, then turn OFF Opera Turbo. You will then see your images return to full quality.
(If you really are stuck on a slow connection, I believe you can get the Full Quality version of an image to load by right clicking on that image and choose the option in there to reload the image)
