Display URL in statusbar when hover forward & back buttons?
Before the recent revisions it used to be that when I hovered over the Forward or Back buttons in the toolbar I would get the URL in the status field rather than the page title that I get now. If I recall correctly a long time ago I made some change to get this behavior, but I can't remember what it was. I tried changing the Show Address In Caption in Opera:config to show page address rather than page title, and I tried unchecking Display Link Title, but neither helped. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Thanks.XP Pro SP3 x86
In 10.10 it shows the URI, in 10.50 it shows the page title. I don't know what the setting you're referring to does, but in my 10.10 it sure isn't turned on, I can tell you that much.
I can also assure you that I never customized anything in this matter because I only use the keyboard for these things. I only have a couple of buttons in my browser for if my wife wants to use it.

The DnD Sanctuary — a safety net for My Opera's demise.
I've been trying to figure out how to modify the Back button to show the address of the previous page rather than the page title in the status field.
Optimally I'd like the drop down to still show the page title, but I doubt if that will be possible.

I have some candidates, below, to replace "Internal Back History" but I don't know what would be acceptable to insert in a button. I will do some experimenting, but some suggestions from those more knowledgeable would be appreciated.
window.history.back()
javascript:window.history.back()
href="javascript:window.history.back()"
