Strange copy / paste behaviour.

I was in Opera Mobile and I selected an address in the address bar and did a long click to copy it.
I then exited Mobile started Mini, long clicked on the address bar but there was no paste option BUT if I did select the full screen editing option bringing up the phones (Nokia 5230) own input screen the paste was there with the text I copied in Mobile.

The thing is that Opera Mobile is full browser. Therefore everything copied goes directly to phone's clipboard.

Opera Mini is Jave MIDlet where you have two clipboards: One "Java clipboard" for inline editor, and phone's clipboard for full-screen editor (phone's built-in editor). Obviously there must be some technical Java restriction that does not let the direct copy paste between these two clipboards. Therefore you have to do for example the following if you want to copy something like a street address in Opera Mini and pass it to your phones contacts:

1) Use inline edit mode, because you can still long press on form fields to switch between inline and full-screen edit modes.
1) Select and copy the text on Web page.
2) Pass it into any form field you see.
3) Long press on form field to open full-screen editor.
4) Copy the text again on full-screen editor, and now you can paste it where ever you like in your phone.

This still may not work on all phones because the full-screen editor may not allow copying on all phone models.

Both seem fine on my 5230.
There are a few differences like using the OPera sync thing it works better in Mobile where reading RSS feeds seems only possible in Mini.
