Opera Mini 5 on LG Keybo - Freezes on Startup
I am having a problem using Opera Mini 5 on my LG Keybo (or VX9100) from Telus. I used BitPim to install it on my phone, and it worked for a single day. Now, when I try to load it, the loading bar only goes to about 80% full and then it freezes. This has frustrated me and forced me to go back to 4.2 which does not seem to have this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I loved having OM5. It worked almost flawlessly and is far better than 4.2 in my opinion.
This sounds suspiciously like a case of RMS data corruption -- that there is something wrong with the data that Opera Mini 5 has saved to memory.
What happens if you uninstall Opera Mini 5 and then install it again from the same location?
Do you remember exactly what you did right before Opera Mini 5 stopped working correctly? For example, on some handsets, exiting Opera Mini by hitting the end call key may cause this kind of RMS corruption.

I deleted it out of my phone's filesystem with Bitpim a few days ago, and when I put it back, I still have the same problem. And right before it stopped working, I don't know what I did, but hitting "end call" sounds like something I would have done.
