How do I install Superwaba Virtual Machine on a Palm OS (Treo 680)

I'm absolutely mystified by how impossible it has been to find anywhere that tells me how to install SuperWaba Virtual Machine.

Can anyone here tell me?

I want to try Opera Mini on my Treo 680, Java VM is dead as we all know, so what am I to do? If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

SuperWaba is not a Java machine. What you need is IBM WebSphere Micro Environment JVM. Palm no longer offers it for download but if you search you'll find it. Once you install it, go to settings, set thread stack size to the maximum value 32k (default value is too low, will give you guaranteed crashes), heap size as large as possible but NOT exceeding the amount of free RAM available on your device (if java heap size exceeds the free RAM, it might use all remaining RAM and make the device crash), enable hi-res coordinates and double buffering (double buffering makes the display slower but smoother). You will most likely be unable to run OM5 but OM4.2 should be working. If you want to download files or save pages, install fileconn.prc as well - it's an optional package for IBM JVM that adds filesystem access.
