Weird, it also happens here with a new profile.
Since at least one other person experiences the same I submitted a bug report with a debug log.

Still happens on 3347. Opera essentially enters some kind of RAM splurge while using 50% CPU (i.e. 100% of one core) after loading that site.

I don't know what changed butit's defnitely performing worse than before on Linux for me. It's not freezing Opera but there is definitely some slow down. Too much Flash perhaps?

It might be of interest that the page also freezes the last stable version of Opera 10.51 Build 3315
Vista 32-bit SP2. I also tested the page with Firefox 3.6.3, and there the page loaded fine.

I already reported this as Bug DSK-292242.

I just realized that you can unfreeze Opera again, at least with Win7.
When you have that link opened simply right click on the Opera icon in the taskbar and select new tab.
Opera loses focus on the frozen tab and you can close it.

Confirmed XP SP3
-It seems it might be an advertisement on the site that is causing Opera to freeze with high CPU usage because with Adblock enabled the site loads without freezing. Disable Adblock then only does the site freeze.
