10.51 - cross domain proxy errors
I've been running Opera through the proxy servers of my company for a while without problems. But on 10.51 I'm getting random periods of approx 5 minutes when all page requests get a 'cross domain' security error, and I can't load any pages. Then it just clears. Also getting long 'waiting for connection' errors occasionally. Enabling html 1.1 in the preferences didn't really improve it. Anyone know why this is a problem just in 10.51? Frustrating, as it's otherwise an awesome update. This has recently become an issue for me, and I don't use a proxy. The most recent example, I tried searching Google by typing "g <search terms>" in the address bar, like I've done countless times before. It brought up the "opera:crossdomainerror" page.
Clicking "continue" did nothing.
Clicking "Always continue..." did nothing.
However, if I copy the URL and paste it in the address bar, I can then go straight to the page without issue. It's previously happened when clicking on a link which went from one website to another. Again, the fix was to copy the URL to the address bar.
Any suggestions?

I can confirm that this still happens in 10.53. I'm behind proxy and "crossdomainerror" is very frustrating. I'm using both manual and automatic proxy configuration, and switching them sometimes helps.

I've just tested 10.60 alpha version and this error still occurs, just changed to "opera:crossnetworkwarning" error (with the very same result - browser restart required).
I've submitted bug report, DSK-302187.

Wow, I had thought this was something to do with my ISP or perhaps my router (which i've never fully trusted), but yes, I also get this frequently....and now that I think about it, I only remember it in Opera. The problem is, it's difficult to report it as a bug since it's not easily reproducible.
i'm getting a similar problem, sometimes when i click on a link I get the crossnetworkwarning page (2-3 times a day) and occasionally (~1-2 times a day) opera instantly crashes when i click the link to open in new tab. In the second it takes for the window to disappear, i've noticed that the new tab has the opera:crossnetworkwarning address.
I'm not behind a proxy, opera Mac 10.60

Problem still exists on Opera 11. With version 10.6x it started to be better (it occurred only when manual proxy settings where used) but with 11, it happens also for automatic. I also receive lot of "internal communication error". I wonder if that's connected somehow...

I use Opera 11.10, build 2092, Windows XP, and I have the same situation (I'm behind a personal WLAN), but I have identified what triggers the warning. It happens like this: I have to initiate a session with my ISP provider using a hotspot page before being able to browse the web, and when I open Opera with a saved session with many pages, without previously initiating My ISP's session, all pages present the 'opera:crossnetworkwarning' address.
The worst is that, once you click either 'continue' or 'always allow...', nothing happens, and in some cases, I can't even recover the original URL for that page using the 'back' button or the equivalent mouse gesture. It happened just minutes ago - from a session with a single page, a stack of 6 pages and another single page (all different websites), I got the warning for 7 of them.
After logging in to my ISP, I was able to 'recover/open' the URL for the first single page and 3 that were part of the stack. The others keep the address but go blank after some seconds... :-(
With Iron (Chromium) or Firefox, I get a similar warning, so I believe it's more a problem with the authentication process than with Opera, but loosing the URL of the page, and not reloading/redirecting after authentication is something that happens only with Opera. Any ideas on how to correct this issue?
