Creat new Icons for contacts
How do I create new icons to associate with contacts in mail ? I need icons for businesses groups and people who don't remotely look anything like the ones available in the preset list.Are there additional sets I can download or is it restricted to the built in list

Extract standard_skin.zip to a folder named standard_skin. Add png images to the contacts directory. Then, edit accounts.ini and look for Contacts39. After that, add entries for the new images you added and save your changes. Then, zip in the contents of the standard_skin folder (not the folder itself) and name it my_standard_skin.zip. Then, delete the standard_skin folder.
Then, start Opera -> shift+F2 -> Skin Tab and switch to your new skin.
Or, instead of adding new images to a skin, overwrite some of the existing images. That way, if you're not using your special skin, there will be images to fall back on.
