Can I turn off "autocomplete" in v10.00?

In Opera v10.00, is it possible to turn off the drop-down "suggestions" that appear while I'm typing in the URL address bar?

I searched for "autocomplete," but got no results. Perhaps Opera calls it something else.

Thanks.

Jerry

Thank you Tamil -- I am happy to say that was exactly the fix I wanted.

I am also happy that the "fix" was in a semi-obscure place. I scoured all the GUI menus and the CTRL+F12 "Preferences" utility looking for something that would control the AutoDropdown behavior.

I live in fear of the day I post a question here in the forum only to be embarrassed by an answer like: "Click 'Tools.' It's the first menu item."

Thanks again.

Jerry

I unchecked it in your link, Tamil. Does that fix my Opera? Also, I don't get it - where was that you need to go to get to that Auto Dropdown option?

Thanks, Tamil. Yes I saved. But where do you go to access Preference Editor? Click on the big O in the upper left corner, then what?

Type opera:config in address field.

That's the only way? Why isn't there a link to it under Settings?

So, for those of us who need to use opera:config -- does that make us "above average" or "below average"?wink
