Leapfrogging Links

I wonder if the following is a bug or a feature. In Mini 5 (I'm using the native WM version), if a web page has duplicate links, which is sometimes the case due to page numbers, etc., clicking on one of them will highlight the duplicates, as well. I've created a test page to demonstrate this. In Opera Mini 5, load
http://files.myopera.com/WebDweller/files/TestPage.html .

Then run the mouse cursor over any occurrence of "Bing" in the first five lines and watch what happens. Next, run the cursor over any occurrence of "Google" in the bottom line.

Please tell me what you see in both cases.

Yes,the duplicates are always highlighted when you click on links.
But what is your problem?

I have no problem with it, Chinu92, but since this is the first browser I've used that highlights duplicate links, I was curious whether it was supposed to.

Guess it's a feature, then! wink

Interesting. In OM4 (mobile view, no images) all google links are highlighted at the same time but in OM5 (desktop view, hq images) the first one is separated from the rest.

The other behave equal in both browsers.

I've seen a slight difference in that test page when I view it in mobile mode, which removes the blank line second from the bottom. It seems that the closer the duplicates are to one another, the more likely they are to be highlighted. Without the blank line, every occurrence of "Bing" gets highlighted. Oddly enough, there seems to be no connection between the Google link on the second line and those in the last line in either mode.

You are right. When I swap mobile/desktop views, OM4 and OM5 behaves equal. All links are separate in OM3 though.
