need help with opera search dropdown: missing searchengine

hiho,

technical details:
Opera Version 10.51 (Build 3315) running on a Win32 engine using windows xp

the easiest way for my to explain my problem is by showing images ... so here we go:

the above image shows that my search in page search engine is there where it should be.

the above image is the drop-down menu next to the address-bar. i use that all the time.

the above image shows the search if you use it using a right click on a web-page.

now my questions:

1. why is my search-in-page not available anymore (neither in the drop-down nor in the right-click)?
of course my main point would be the question on how to get it back again ;-)

2. why are all my end-separators gone in the drop-down menu but still there in the right-click menu?
here also the question on how to get the separators back again ;-)

i expect that helping hands might want to check out if my search.ini is broken or something like
that, so of course i uploaded that as well and here is a link to it:

my search.ini file i use

by the way: i do not want to learn about alternatives like using control+f3 or other things,
i would rather have opera back to the way i am used to using it ;-)

somehow i get the impression that the search.ini used to be easier to handle and if you had deleted
search engines you could actually remove them out of the search.ini and just have the engines in
there that you really use. i do not know if that is just my impression of how things used to be or
if this is really based on facts. *thinking*

anyway, if you think you can help me, then it would be greatly appreciated.

hiho,

by the way ... i would also like to know how or where i can disable the search history. every time i open
the dropdown menu a entry appears where previous searches are listed. i checked the opera:config and
could not find anything that kills this function.

if you have any ideas on that then do not hesitate to reply.

Try to customize your keyboard profiles in Advanced. Set 'f ctrl' as 'Focus Search Field'. Of course, 'Find on the page' will be your search engine on default.
There is only one problem that I really dislike!! In 10.51 if you try to type some word for searching you see search list, and have to click on search field (or press Esc), then Enter to search. In older versions it works with simple Enter
