Bundling Opera with other software?
Hi, I'm trying to read the licence agreement if I am allowed to include Opera in my custom installer. I'm building a web app built to run locally and accessed through Opera and I would like all software to be installed from one single installer.I can't figure out if I can do this, or if I need to look somewhere else...
I think I will use the original Opera installer and then use the "silent install" option to install it without user interaction.
Any thoughts?
This is a user forum, try contacting Opera Software directly. I suppose technically this is a business question rather than a support question, so this might be the appropriate contact form ...
If you're not modifying the installer and if you're not making money off the web app they probably don't mind, but really they are the ones who would have to say that. If you expect to make money (beyond distribution costs) off something that you're including the browser with, then you'd expect some sort of fee - though none of us here are in a position to say for sure.

It's not the best solution, but you could use a portable version of Opera instead of installing it separately (if you're allowed to do so
)Hey, it's me.
