Menu?

Whatever happened to "File, View, Edit, etc? I stupidly agreed to update to 10.51, assuming it wouldn't mess up the way I'm used to working. The reason I've been using Opera for years is that I don't want "upgrades" that are about how someone at Microsoft thinks I should be browsing. Is there a way to fix this? Downgrade? Or do I have to change browsers?
