Plugins: Auto update, separate process

1: Auto update for installed plugins would be to say at least, very nice. It would increase overall security, and in most cases stability and performance.

2: Separate Processes for plugins would make the browser more stable smile (Linux version of Opera has this already if I'm not wrong).

well, this thread is a clear duplicate... but still: +1
Using Windows 7 64Bit SP1 and of course Opera
(If nothing else stated the most current weekly) on a nice Dell Studio XPS 16!

I don't think this one is a duplicate. Automatic udpate for plugins would be nice. But even better would be an option whether to automatically update plugins or only notify about plugin updates - like Firefox. That way, people would know they need to update Flash for example to plug security holes. smile

If Opera could autoupdate the plugins without bothering the user at all, that would be the best in my opinion. But since most users like to have some control of what's happening, a simple "do you want to update?: yes\no\later" dialogue would be nice.
